Ki Maniere!

This open workshop aims to initiate “Cooperative Partnerships for Mauritius”. Core of the workshop is targeting on waste management for the green tourism industry in Mauritius in terms of waste reducing and waste separation–to enable recycling instead of the current practice of landfilling in Mauritius which is harming the local ecology and causing the emission of climate relevant gas emissions.

The program reflects vast valuable contributions of the current situation according to sustainability, tourism and waste management in Mauritius. The project is being held to bring together stakeholders and companies from all areas of the Mauritian tourism industry and waste management supported by scholars’ experience from the University of Mauritius (Prof. Dr. Robin Nunkoo) and the University of Kassel (Prof. Dr. Ralf Wagner)
